Our old style feather and wedge hand split posts originate from a variety of reclaimed block and column type material.
Original Posts and Columns – Reclaimed
- Available from time to time – becoming more difficult to find
- Sometimes available with old gate hardware attached
- Occasionally we are able to offer ornate posts
- Most posts we reclaim are 1800’s – early 1900’s vintage

Hand Split Posts & Columns Appearance:
Our hand split posts are split by the old fashioned method using “feathers and wedges.” The result is a mix of the freshly split sides and aged and weathered sides or consistent fresh sides if required.
