It’s all about Benches!!
Just before Christmas, we were able to rescue a very unique grouping of antique granite, cylindrical shaped bench pieces.
This fantastic group was first used in the 4.7 mile “Southwest Corridor Park” that was built in the late 1980’s. These circular seating pieces were scattered throughout the park but were removed sometime in the early 2000’s and replaced with more conventional benches.
About the pieces:
- Quantity – 18 pieces in all
- (13) large pieces that measure 24” High x 4’ in Diameter.
- (5) smaller pieces that measure 18” High x 30” in Diameter.
- Sides are textured and tops are smooth for seating comfort.
- These cylinders can also be used as pedestals or even as circular firepits.
Curb Corners – This product is probably the most under used of all reclaimed granite products in landscape/hardscape applications. Many people may not even recognize these pieces as curb corners because in most cases a good 75% of this product is set below grade, with proper installation.
As with just about all other reclaimed granite products… use your imagination to think about different applications.
- These make perfect single seats.
- Split them in two and you’ve got a matching set of bench legs to cap with your favorite bench product.
These and many other products are in stock and on display at our Granite Superstore. We hope to hear from you or see you soon.
