Vintage Granite Cobblestones
Reclaimed vintage cobblestones from city streets, roadways, facilities and old mills throughout New England. Our cobblestones are all American made. Here in the U.S. cobblestones were quarried primarily as road paving material beginning in the early to mid 1800’s. The real early – original Belgian blocks were used as ballast blocks aboard ships coming from Europe.
Granite Cobblestone Appearance:
Most vintage cobblestones from roadways show a good amount of surface wear… largely due to the vehicular traffic – steel wheeled vehicles of the day.
