Just Unearthed — Rockport Granite Jumbo Cobblestones
- Carriage wheel worn surfaces on the tops and remarkably on the bottoms as well
- Very, very old – we estimate these stones predate the Civil War
- These beautiful Rockport granite cobblestones, when split, have revealed that the origin of these stones is from the legendary Bay View Quarry
- The unmistakable blueish green color of the grain at Bay View Quarry was called “Sea Mist” green
- This “Sea Mist” color is so stunning that we guarantee some of you will absolutely want to use this freshly split, colorful side as your paving surface
- The newly split colorful paving block is exactly what the stones looked like when they were originally installed over 80 years ago
- We are splitting these cobblestones in half to yield stones with measurements of 10″-13″L x 4″-5″W x 3.5″-4″H
- Perfect for projects that need the length of a jumbo stones 10″-13″ but don’t necessarily require the 7″-8″ depth of a traditional jumbo
- Why pay more for a full size (depth) jumbo, when 3.5″-4″ a shorter height is all you need
